How We Work Virtually

As a fully-virtual law firm, Reagan Moore harnesses trustworthy technology to operate in a secure online environment.  With 95% of our clients, we conduct business without the need for a bricks-and-mortar office.  We communicate and share documents with our clients through an encrypted cloud-based online portal that’s available 24/7.

Once a client engages us, they’re assigned a unique portal that only they and we can access. We rely on the portal almost exclusively to:

  • give our clients online access at any time, from anywhere, to everything they need related to their estate planning matter.  That eliminates the need for fax, traditional mail, and unsecured email communication;
  • maintain a private calendar dedicated to each client so they can view and manage upcoming events about their estate planning;
  • invoice clients and to securely accept up to seven methods of credit/debit card payments, including eCheck.  We do not charge or pass along payment processing fees.

We’re proud to join a growing number of modern law firms that safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively service their clients by using a virtual business model.  That makes for very satisfied clients, and an even better practice of law.

What Our Clients Can Expect

  • Each prospective client meets one of our attorneys in a 30-minute no-cost telephone consultation. During the consultation, we answer questions, check for legal conflicts, quote our fees, and estimate the timeline for document completion.
  • If we and the prospective client agree to proceed, we and they enter into a written engagement agreement by which they become our client and we become their legal counsel.
  • Next, we provide the client a secure online intake form that they complete and we then use to prepare their estate planning documents.  When we receive the completed intake form from the client, we compose and complete a first draft of the documents.
  • Once the first draft is complete, we send it to the client to review. We also schedule a telephone planning meeting where we and the client can discuss the details of the estate planning documents.
  • After that planning meeting(s), we finalize the estate planning documents and any necessary deeds and/or assignments. When we render final documents to the client, we include step-by-step instructions on how to sign the documents and keep them safe.
  • If our client desires, we arrange for a vetted mobile notary to meet the client to oversee a document signing ceremony. Many clients ask for this service.
  • We do not routinely bill by the hour. On almost every matter, we bill a flat fee that includes all attorney-client communications. Most of our services are “packaged” and are billed at a flat fee for the package. Our fees, fee policies, and payment methods are displayed on our website.
